First finished object of 2005!

C.'s sweater is finished. The sleeves are a ... little ... long, but she loves it. She really likes the extremely long sleeves.

The yarn was Bernat Berella "4" in the denim colorway. It is machine wash and tumble dry, so a good choice for a teen-ager.

Were I to do it again, I would make the sleeves much shorter, the body shorter, and the raglan shaping much shorter. Can't be seen here, but the armholes actually start close to her waistline.

In other news, C. will be attending high school in the bigh city. 1,400 students school-wide, which is very large. She could be one of 360 kids in grade 9. The extra-curricular activities are a big part of the decision, as are the more widely varied class offerings. If she decides that she doesn't like the school, she can always transfer back to Cartwright.
